Solutions Developer/Web Template Developer

This position is suited for a web developer or consultant that has some experience working with customers. This position includes writing web template code using PHP technologies, writing requirements, designing solutions, fixing defects, and doing whatever else is required to get new features deployed on time for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Some knowledge of project management or agile methodologies. Including ability to estimate project effort and create high level timelines.
• Customer Requirements Gathering and writing specification documentation.
• Client web template development.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers as required to assure successful integrations and customer satisfaction.
• Provide support as required for the solutions we develop to other teams, both internal and external to Treemo.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Required experience: HTML, CSS, Javascript, web template languages such as Smarty or JSP. PHP or other programming language experience is a plus.
• Experience writing use cases.
• Experience working on Linux platforms.
• Experience with version control software. Subversion experience a plus.
• Some knowledge of project management or agile methodologies. Including ability to estimate project effort and create high level timelines.
• Good problem solver – will take the lead in jumping into a problem with the eye toward finding a solution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with external client on projects.
• Customer-focused attitude.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree – Technology degree preferred.
